Tracing back the evolution of modern jewellery would lead us to times when our traditional women used mud, wood, bones and animal parts like tusk and nails to gracefully weave out ornaments to enhance their naive looks. Later precious metals like gold and silver were carved for women who wore it as bangles, necklace, anklet , rings for ear, nose, finger and hair decorative. Moving further when precious stones and other metals like copper, steel etc started being used for weaving jewellery, there started a commercial revolution of bulk production and “jewellery” became an indispensable part of a woman’s daily life.
